The Hippogriff. Now, only one of you asked for this. However, that one of you happens to be my eight year old daughter who has just finished a certain series of magical books and is somewhat obsessed. Half eagle, half horse, first mentioned by an Italian poet in the 16th Century regarding things that were impossible, they can apparently fly to the moon.
