The Zebra. A group of Zebras is called a dazzle. And we’ve peaked. Fact number 4 on the list of ‘10 incredible zebra facts’ I’ve been perusing is ‘They’re quite big’. Makes me think you might know all of these other ones if they’re having to scrape the barrel that early. They can run up to 40 mph. Pretty fast. Their stripes help them camouflage in grass as most of their predators are color blind. They also help with biting flies, although I’m not quite clear how. Fact number 2 on this list was ‘They can communicate non verbally’, which got me very excited about their psychic abilities, but turns out means they flap their ears a bit. They’re related to horses. No kidding. Oh hang on, I’ve found another list. This is more like it. They only have one toe, can’t see the color orange and were called Tiger-Horses by the Romans.
