The Malayan Tapir. Sometimes referred to as Oreo Tapirs because of their resemblance to the cookie when they lose their baby spots and stripes. They also happen to be endangered. Perhaps someone should suggest a different nickname? Make them sound less DELICIOUS. They squeak and whistle to communicate (please, for the love of god I don’t taste like a biscuit) but to no avail. Maybe they should learn a language? There’s blame on both sides here. Apparently they can use their snouts as tiny snorkels. Interesting. How big does a nose have to be before it becomes capable of snorkeling? Mine can’t be far off. In fact, I’m going swimming this weekend, I will report back.
